During initial setup, you select the files that you want to
back up. Stockade then tracks updates to those files and stores
the last 5 versions of each file. If you accidentally delete
or overwrite a file or if it is lost due to sabotage or hard
disk failure, you can easily restore it with Stockade.
2. Compress Files
During the automated backup process files are compressed. Typical
compression is a high as 5:1 or 10:1. This maximizes your Internet
bandwidth.
3. Encrypt Files
Before your sensitive data leaves your machine, it is encrypted
with AES 256 bit encryption. Your data is so secure that no one,
not even Stockade Employees, can read it. We never have access
to your computer or your data.
4. Transmit Files to Stockade Servers
Your fully encrypted backup files are then transmitted to redundant
servers located at two different geographical locations, more
than five hundred miles apart. With Stockade, your data is protected
against any eventuality.
